Mr Brownson invited to lecture at the Arthrex Shoulder Symposium in Munich

On 13th November 2015, Peter Brownson was invited to lecture at the Arthrex Shoulder Symposium in Munich. The meeting involved approximately 30 key opinion leaders from the United Kingdom. Peter Brownson was invited to talk on ˜Knotless Instability Repair in Shoulder Surgery™. The meeting brought together the key opinion leaders to talk about the current hot topics in shoulder surgery. There were a large number of surgical demonstrations as well as round table discussions.

On Mon 16th November 2015 Peter Brownson and Jo Gibson (Specialist Physiotherapist) held an afternoon seminar focusing on on current trends in the management of rotator cuff problems and shoulder instability. The seminar was hosted by N -Core (The National Centre of Rehabilitation Education) and was held at the Royal Derby Hospital. The aim of the afternoon was to provide an overview of the current thinking on the management of these common shoulder conditions and was aimed principally at physiotherapists, particularly those specialising in shoulder and elbow rehabilitation. There were approximately 100 delegates at the meeting from all over the UK with the Midlands being particularly well represented. A similar meeting is planned for 2016.
